Woolrich Prescott Parka

The limited-edition Prescott Parka is the flagship item of Spring/Summer 2018: the completely waterproof, laminated cotton is a canvas which allows the embroidery, threads, beads, glass and metallic sequins on the arms and shoulders to stand out in relief. Navajo motifs, now synonymous with the blankets made at the historic Woolrich Mill in Pennsylvania, mix with geometric patterns inherited from Aztec culture. A voyage from the city to the desert, drawing inspiration from the work of American painter Georgia O’Keeffe, features flowers that evoke none other than those of her buen retiro to New Mexico. Woolrich transfers O’Keeffe’s symbolism onto fabric, taking this imaginary journey and adding a stopover of Made-in-Italy excellence: the embroidery is done by the designers of Jato, the historic embroidery house in Bologna. The limited-edition Prescott Parka will be distributed to the best multi-brand boutiques in Europe, the USA and Asia and in Woolrich flagship stores worldwide.

The new, limited-edition Prescott Parka draws inspiration from painter Georgia O’Keeffe, for a voyage which spans from the city to the desert. Sophisticated, convertible, high-performance garments.
